Siwelele beat Polokwane to climb to 7th

Bloemfontein – Bloemfontein Celtic have moved to the seventh on the PSL log with a 2-1 win over Polokwane City at the Kaizer Sebothelo Stadium in Botshabelo last night.

Goals from Joel Mogorosi and Frank Mhango moved Phunya Sele Sele into sixth place on the log.

Moffat Mdluli scored for the “Rise and Shine” in the 22nd minte, just two minutes after Mogorosi opened the scoring.

Boebie Solomons’s side remain 14th on the log, just two points clear of the relegation zone.

In last night’s other matches, Platinum Stars put an end to Kaizer Chiefs’ unbeaten run with a 2-0 win over the Amakhozi at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium, while the Buccaneers beat Moroka Swallows 1-0 in Dobsonville.

Black Aces claimed a valuable 2-1 away win against Golden Arrows and the King Zwelithini Stadium in Lamontville, thanks to an own goal by Joseph Musonda in the 26th minute.
