Rulof Els represented the Free State at the South African National Equestrian Schools Association (Sanesa) at Kyalami Equestrian Park in Gauteng. On his horse, Brandbach Dumani, the gr. 10 pupil of Grey College, achieved a first place in showjumping. He won the gold in his class against 53 other riders from nine provinces.
