The International Arts Talent Showcase (IATS) has landed in the City of Roses and calls upon all local talent to showcase their unique set of skills and talent.

All aspiring actors, singers, dancers, models and voice-over artists are called to audition. According to the producer of IATS, Elsubie Verlinden, their mission is to create and give opportunities to local talent and secure educational opportunities that will allow dreamers to become doers and start their careers.

According to spokesperson Genevieve Vieira, multiple artists from Bloemfontein have gone to America and secured scholarships to obtain international education. Caitlyn Rockman is said to be one of the candidates who studied at the New York Film Academy. Shortly after attending IATS, she walked the runways of the New York Fashion Week.

“We currently have an artist, Thato Thamae, who auditioned for us and who is going to New York in July 2022. Thato has since being scouted and booked numerous local TV commercials with our agency, 33 and Me Talent Agency. And we are excited to discover more young hopefuls in Bloemfontein,” said Vieira.

IATS is not a competition but a platform that primarily focuses on arts education. According to Vieira, IATS creates a national platform to showcase people’s talent in front of international agents, managers and producers from America, allowing local talent international career and casting opportunities.

Auditions will take place this Saturday, 4 September, at the Premier Splendid Inn located at 85 Zastron St, Bloemfontein Central. For more information, send an email to info@itsartsafrica.co.za.
