Shaxe is shaking up his show

A shake-up is on the cards at the OFM studios with the announcement of changes in the programming as from 3 April 2017. These exciting changes will include the moving of Free State’s favourite hip hop DJ, Shaxe Khumalo, into a new slot to give your weekends a new lease on life. Talking about his new show, called Shaxe Time, he told Voice that he is very excited. It’s a new challenge for him and it is also an extension of his brand. “I am really honoured that OFM, with its brand being as big as it is, decided to take a chance on me by allowing me the freedom to also grow mine.” He says he is thrilled that he will be able to play music that he normally plays when performing at gigs. This will also allow him the freedom to have live broadcasts when he is performing

This will also allow him the freedom to have live broadcasts when he is performing at an event, which is something he was previously unable to do. He also promises hip hop and house music lovers alike an urban playlist, which will be a slight deviation from the normal OFM music playlist. General manager for central South Africa’s favourite radio station, Nick Efstathiou, says they are excited about these new elements and he hopes the listeners will be too. “With these changes, we hope to engage, inform and entertain our loyal listeners even more.” To catch Shaxe’s fresh new show, listen or live stream every Friday and Saturday from 22:00 to 01:00. Also be sure to keep listening to OFM, download the OFM radio app or live stream OFM. – PULANE CHOANE
