Neem deel in Egipte

Len-Douglas Mac Kay het op 18 en 19 Februarie deelgeneem aan die Afrika Lewensreddingkampioenskappe in Alexandria, Egipte. Op die eerste dag van die kampioenskappe het Len-Douglas vyfde plek in die 600m opewater swem gewen. Op die tweede dag het hy goud in die ‘tube-rescue’-afdeling verower. Len-Douglas is ook as die beste swemmer (seuns 17-19) aangewys tydens die Interhoër Gala wat by die Bloemfontein Swemstadion plaasgevind het.

For the love of cooking!

Naledi Ramaema, who is in Grade 6 at St Michael’s School for Girls, entered the cooking insert for the HECTIC-ON-3 show. It was screened on 3 March on SABC 3. Well done Naledi! This is the beginning of great cooking adventures!

School creates awareness of societal issues

As part of a month-long initiative, Mangaung Primary School has launched an awareness campaign partnering with the South African Police Service to shine the spotlight on bullying and substance abuse among its learners. The principal, Phakiso Janku, said the initiative was organized by the Batho Police Station and the School.
