The road between Bloemfontein and Dewetsdorp is currently closed due to authorities investigating a cash in transit heist that took place in the early hours of this morning.
Bloemfontein Courant was on the scene, where motorists were being redirected to alternative routes. At this stage, information is still sketchy, however, the Hawks are on the scene furthering the investigation.
Inquiries have been put in to the Hawks’ spokesperson, Lynda Steyn, who said authorities are still busy on the scene and that information will be available after the investigation has been completed.
