Renowned Polish pianist to perform in Bfn

Andrzej Pikul is regarded as a highly respected interpreter of the music of Fryderyk Chopin and will present a programme consisting of Chopin works only.

The Odeion School of Music at the University of the Free State is hosting an evening of exquisite musical skill by Chopin expert and internationally renowned pianist, Andrzej Pikul, from Poland.

Pikul has given many performances in prestigious concert halls around the world. He has also taught masterclasses for pianists in Australia, Chile, Israel, Japan, Brazil, Germany, New Zealand, Portugal, and Spain. He is a Professor of Piano at the Academy of Music in Kraków.

The event will take place at 19:30 on 10 February at the Centre of Faith in Universitas. Tickets cost R160 for adults, R80 for pensioners and UFS staff members, and R60 for students, learners and block bookings of 10 and more. Tickets are available at
