‘Reach for the sky’ career expo hosted

Over 1200 learners are expected to meet at Kagisho Secondary School in Bloemfontein this morning, where the Free State Department of Education together with Zar Royal Tiger Events will be hosting an aviation career expo.

According to a statement by the department, the theme of the expo will be “Reach for the Sky” and will aim to educate Grade 8 to 11 learners about different career opportunities in the aerospace field. The two partners will make information available about scholarships and bursaries for these careers.

The learners will also have the opportunity to engage with aerospace professionals who will encourage them to reach for their dreams. According to the statement teachers from the different schools will also be given information to equip students for these career choices in years to come.
