Ramaphosa expected to address service delivery issues in NC

Hundreds of Kimberley residents in the Northern Cape are already making their way into the Tafel Lager Park where the ANC is holding it’s 108  anniversary celebrations.

It is at this event where President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to address approximately 25 000 deligates.

Following his engagement with residents during his door-to-door visits during the week, Ramaphosa is expected to outline ANC’s achievements and how the party plans to a address the many socio-economic challenges faced by Northern Cape residents and the broader country.

The province is currently amongst those suffering from high unemployment rate and lack of service delivery by local municipalities.

Auditor-General, Kimi Makwetu in his latest local government report indicated that most municipalities in this province needed intervention.

He outlined that their audit outcomes regressed, the state of good governance was on a decline and lack of accountability had become prevalent in many local municipalities.
