An investigation by a special task team appointed by the Free State Department of Education into allegations of racism by two headmasters and a teacher from three separate schools in the province is expected to be finalised in due course.
Chairperson of the task team, Thabiso Motsoeneng, says a progress report about the investigation against the principal of Dr Viljoen Combined School in Bloemfontein, Francois Schoon, Christiaan de Wet’s, Charles Liversage, and a life orientation teacher at St Helena Primary School in Welkom, Trudy Erasmus, will be available next week.
This comes after the department uplifted the suspension against the educators more than a week ago.
It was however reiterated that the department will continue with its internal investigation into allegations of racism by the educators.
