The former President Nelson Mandela’s condition is a major concern for all South Africans.
According to the provincial spokesperson Mondli Mvambi, they will hold a prayer service on Sunday. The service will held at Vista Arena in Bloemfontein with various youth organisations. Mandela is considered to be the father of the nation. The living legend was admitted 20 days ago and is reported to be in a critical but stable condition.
Mondli says the prayer service is to mark the closing of the 37th anniversary commemoration of Youth Month. “We know that he is old, but we feel that as a catalyst of building a democratic South Africa he also increased the levels of social cohesion in our communities and for that and many more he will always remain our icon,” says Mvambi.
