The Free State police in Odendaalsrus are searching for suspects and the next of kin, following the brutal murder of o woman who was found with a slit throat.
According to the Free State police spokesperson, Palesa Thabana, the woman’s body was discovered in 2022 near a farm and her relatives are yet to be located. “On Wednesday, 31 August 2022, members were summoned to a farm near K10 Section, Kutlwanong. On arrival, they discovered the body of an unidentified African female with a slit throat. The deceased had a wedding ring on her finger, and her clothes were scattered next to her. She was estimated to be 28 years old,” she said.
The police are asking anyone with information to come forward. “Police are appealing to anyone with information that could help locate relatives of the deceased or lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) to come forward.
