Police deputy minister visits FS

The Deputy Minister of Police, Cassel Mathale, will be visiting the Free State this coming weekend to address issues of crime.

His visit comes after the start of 16 days of Activism under the theme “The year of Charlotte Mannya Maxeke”. The Free State Police spokesperson Motantsi Makhele says Mathale together with South African Police Service leadership will host a Ministerial Outreach Programme this coming Saturday in Fouriesburg. Mathale will engage with community members to address crime concerns, especially Gender Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF).

He further says that this will be a good platform for community members to engage with the SAPS leadership on the crimes plaguing the community and at the same time improve relations.
