7 December: Join the Sunflower Children’s Hospital for a night of remembrance as they remember all children who have passed with a service and candle-lighting at the Wall of Sunflowers. The service begins at 17:30, a Christmas Market will take place during the day at 12:00.
8 December: Oliewenhuis Art Museum commemorates Reconciliation Day with an inclusive exhibition of artworks chosen from Oliewenhuis Art Museum’s Permanent Collection and ArtbankSA. The discussion will be led by Natley Barnardo, Acting Education Officer, at 14:00.
8 December: Every year, the Bloemfontein SPCA invites the locals to view their Christmas light display and this year is no different. Old and young are welcome and there is plenty to see this year, from 8 to 23 December from 18:00 to 21:00 at the Bfn SPCA. R30 per person. Gift packs for children are available at R50 per gift. Pet gifts are also available.
9 December: 14th Glitz and Glam at Ramblers Club from 15:00. Tickets are available from R750 per person, call 072-318-3858 to buy tickets.
