25 April – 3 May: Get ready for the biggest party in Bloem! The Bloem Show Carnival is coming to the Bloemfontein showgrounds from 25 April to 3 May.
26 April: Join the Mangaung Freedom Day half-marathon at the Poelanong Memorial Park (City Hall) from 06:00. Registration points are available at Naval Hill and the City Hall from 21-25 April from 16:30 to 18:30. Online entries close today (24/04). Registration fee starts from R50 to R200.
28 April: Join Oliewenhuis Art Museum to celebrate Freedom Day. Gather your loved ones and join us in relaxing and unwinding together in Oliewenhuis Art Museum’s serene settings, on this special day from 10:00 to 15:00. There will be an array of exhibitions on display as well as entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.

1 May: The annual Cars in the Park show, in collaboration with the OFS Veteran Car Club and C & F Motor Spares, takes place from 09:00 to 14:30 at Martie du Plessis School. Tickets are available from C&F Motor Spares outlets from R20 for scholars and R50 for adults.
9 Mei: Om 18:30 kom besoek Hannes van Wyk en Coenraad Rall die NG Kerk Fichardtpark-gemeente. Met betowerende musiek deur Coenraad Rall as pianis en Hannes van Wyk wat ʼn heerlike versameling briewe voorlees wat die snaakse, eienaardige en roerende aspekte van liefde verken – of dit nou romantiese liefde, familiebande of bloot liefde vir die lewe is! Dit is ʼn mengsel van musiek en stories, wat die dinge vier wat ons harte vinniger laat klop. Verwag breë glimlagte, ʼn paar verrassings en baie lekker-voel-oomblikke!
Hannes van Wyk is bekend as aanbieder van Kwêla op Kyknet en Coenraad Rall is ʼn bekende musikant. Die optrede sal in die kerkgebou plaasvind en daarom is dit onbespreekte plekke.
