18 May: Rev up for a day of green revolution and cutting-edge creativity at the University of the Free State’s EcoVehicle Race that starts at 10:15. Locals can experience the future of transportation as the university’s ingenious students unveil their Annual Eco-vehicle Race in three heart-pounding challenges: The Obstacle Course, The Smart Lap, and The Endurance Race.
25 May: Take an astronomical journey at the Naval Hill Planetarium for a live presentation and a full dome film from 17:00. Rising Star takes you on an astronomical journey from the beginning through the development of astronomy research in South Africa and looks at what the future of astronomy holds for the country.
