Paul Emmanuel exhibits at Oliewenhuis Art Museum

Oliewenhuis Art Museum will welcome Paul Emmanuel’s art exhibition where he will showcase a solo exhibition, Remnants, on 25 May 2017.
Remnants could be viewed as the aftermath of the third phase of Emmanuel’s ongoing Lost Men project – a series of site-specific, temporary, outdoor installations engaging with loss, memory, memorialisation and public grief.
Emmanuel was born in Zambia in 1963 and graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, in 1993.
He makes use of various media to reveal layered visions, since he formed part of the post-apartheid era in South Africa.
The exhibition will be opened by André Croukamp at 19:00 on 25 May at The Reservoir and will last until 9 July 2017.
Refreshments will be served to those attending the opening.
For more information contact the Oliewenhuis Art Museum on 051-011-0520 or email them at oliewen@nasmus.co.za. – Jeretha Oosthuizen
