PAARL BOYS claim bragging rights

Paarl Boys High walked away with the bragging rights in their annual Mutual & Federal Premier Interschools meeting with Grey College here in Bloemfontein.

In a nail biter of a match, Boishaai hung on to claim an emphatic 21-19 victory over Grey College.

The two teams have been competing since 1950, and the match lived up to the pre-match hype; as Paarl inflicted Grey’s second defeat of the week. (Grey lost against Monument on Monday).

The second half was filled with action, as the two sides interchanged points at every chance. The first half only produced 11 points, with Grey going into the half-time break with a one point lead (6-5).

In the rest of the fixtures between the two sides, the second team (Cherries) also lost their encounter against the boys from Paarl by 24-31.
