Oliewenhuis Art Museum adjusts gate closure times

The Oliewenhuis Art Museum has adjusted gate closure times due to the high volumes of traffic and congestion caused by matric farewell and school dance photoshoots taking place on the museum grounds.

Parents and visitors are take note that the gates will close earlier on weekdays and weekend.

“This adjustment is necessary to ensure parking fees are paid on time, to allow staff to close the museum and museum grounds promptly, and to help maintain safety and order during these particularly busy periods.”

Adjusted gate closure times:

Monday to Friday:
• No visitors will be allowed entrance at the front gate after 16:00 (instead of 16:30). All visitors to leave the premises by 17:00.

Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays:
• No visitors will be allowed entrance at the front gate after 15:00 (instead of 15:30). All visitors to leave the premises by 16:00.
