OFM announces exciting 2020 line-up

OFM, The Sound of Your Life in Central South Africa, is proud to introduce a new presenter line-up that will be airing from the 3 April 2020 and that will inspire listeners to live the real good life in #20Plenty.

“The line-up demonstrates the direction OFM wants to take in fulfilling Central South Africa’s passion to ‘Live The Real Good Life’ – a commitment by OFM to reflect what it means to be from this vast central region. It celebrates family, friends and community. The line-up will be real, honest, proud and caring to its listeners and will reflect the spirit of its audience and continue to be the ‘Sound of your Life’,” said OFM Programme Manager, Tim Thabethe.

Weekday mornings will still kick off from 05:00 to 06:00 with Before Dawn in the company of Bright Star radio award winner, Gerben van Niekerk. Popular mid-morning presenter, musician and all around nice guy, Shandor Potgieter, will graduate to host The Good Morning Breakfast Show, weekdays from 06:00 to 09:00, ably assisted by new recruit, Lesley Piet and Supersport presenter Sam Ludidi.

Former presenter Yolanda Maartens brings her years of philanthropic work at Reach for a Dream to make a welcome return to OFM to present Mid-Morning Magic from 09:00 to 12:00, while enthusiastic father of one, Enriko Klopper will keep Central South Africa entertained from 12:00 to 15:00 with At Lunch.

The now established afternoon drive team of digital heavyweight Nico van der Westhuizen and former Miss Free State, Mienke van Rooyen, will still host The Joyride from 15:00 to 18:00, joined by producer Jaybee Makhalemele and sport anchor Aaron Masemola.  Long serving professional Cyril Viljoen slides into OFM Nights from 18:00 to 21:00, while you get VIP Access with singer, and actor Alucius Mocumi from 21:00 to 01:00.

OFM weekends also get a fresh new look.  Pieter Venter will still get your weekend going on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 06:00 to 09:00, after which Enriko Klopper switches your weekend into a higher gear with the Central South African Top 30 from 09:00 to 12:00.  Lesley Piet takes the controls of the Saturday Express from 12:00 to 16:00, with Gerben van Nierkerk getting the weekend’s real good life started with OFM Decades from 16:00 to 20:00.  Put on your seat belt for a wild ride with Fran-Rico Lukas and The Super Mix from 20:00 to 00:00.

Radio legend Tony Blewitt continues to present the best of the 80’s in The Absolute 80s Radio Show from 09:00 to 12:00 on Sunday mornings, while Alucius Mocumi takes over the airwaves on the Sunday Express from 12:00 to 16:00.  Yolanda Maartens will play your dedications from 16:00 to 19:00 in All Request Sundays, while Fran-Rico Lukas ends the weekend on a sweet note with the Sunday Sweet Sessions from 19:00 to 22:00.
