Free State spokesperson Mondli Mvambi says the late Sergeant Tebogo Motsie’s family will be visited by the government officials today.

Motsie and Constable Tshepo Jobo died on Saturday morning with the Gauteng MEC for Economic Development Nkosiphendule Kolisile near Reddersburg in the Free State on their way to the Eastern Cape. Mvambi says amongst the officials who will be visiting the family is Gauteng Premier Nomvula Mokonyane and the Free State Police, Roads and Transport Butana Kompela.

“Councillors Sarah Moeleki and Balekile Mzangwa of Maluti-A-Phofung Local Municipality will also be part of the official visit. Motsie was a protector of the late Kolisile. The visit will take place this afternoon at Marakong in Qwaqwa,” he says.

This statement was issued by the Free State Government Communication Services.
