Many young learners in South Africa struggle with numeracy skills, leading to challenges later in life. This is according to The School Leadership Forum. The initiative will be hosting an online session focused on school principals, teachers, parents, and anyone interested in supporting the numeracy development of young learners.

Numeracy Made Easy featuring Funda Wande CEO, Nangamso Mtsatse, will take place on 18 May 2023 via Zoom from 15:00 to 16:30. “Mtsatse will share tips and strategies to overcome these challenges by making numeracy accessible and enjoyable for Grade R to Grade 4 learners, setting them up for success in their future studies and careers.”

Selwyn Page, Regional Manager for Citizen Leader, says that this is a proud collaboration between The School Leadership Forum and Funda Wande. “As a platform where school leaders come together to become empowered for the benefit of our youth, the School Leadership Forum recognises the importance of improving numeracy skills among young learners, and is proud to collaborate with Funda Wande on this important issue.”
