Ntombela’s engagement with the community of Caleb Motshabi come after she last week embarked on a visit to all communities that were affected by floods earlier this year, leaving families destitute with no shelter and other basic necessities.
During her address to community members in Bergman and Caleb Motshabi, Ntombela said those affected can rest assured that their plight is receiving her utmost attention and that the provincial government will be lending a helping hand. She said those who were accommodated at Paradise Community Hall and others would also be taken care of.
According to her office, she will today be accompanied by the MEC for Human Settlements “to provide relief and deliver on the other promises made”.
