Notice: Road closure of 4 months in the Free State

The Department of Police, Roads and Transport in the Free State gives notice that the road between Marquard and Senekal (R707) will be closed for 4 months starting from the 12 September 2016 until the 12 of January 2017 due to construction.

The Department wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused as the results of this closure and requests road users to use S666 road as an alternative route between the two towns.

The Free State provincial government is working hard to maintain our roads. The Department also advises the public to drive carefully during this period of construction and it would like to work with the public in order to ensure that our roads are safe.
