No disruptions at UFS registration

The University of the Free State says there hasn’t been any disruptions since they started registration processes.

According to university spokesperson, Lacea Loader, the higher learning institution is satisfied with the registration process so far. Loader says registration processes at the other two campuses are also going ahead without any disruptions and senior students have an option of registering online.

“The registration at our main campus started last week where senior students living off campus have to register. The first year students started? registering on Monday till this Friday and senior students in residencies will register the whole of next week. In terms of other campuses, the registration process is also going according to plan.”

According to Loader, first year students at the Qwaqwa campus started registering this Tuesday on, while senior students as well as those at the South campus will start their registrations next week.

The welcoming function of first-year students at the Qwaqwa campus will take place next Tuesday and all lectures at all three campuses will begin on 1 February.
