A brand-new day is dawning for Mazars Bloemfontein. Not only is this local branch part of an international rebranding campaign which sees them sporting a fresh new look and logo, but they have also moved into their new ultra-modern offices at 101 Olympus Road, Wild Olive Estate, in the North of Bloemfontein.
Mazars is an international audit firm with offices in 92 countries across the globe. They are boasting a total of 11 branches in South Africa alone with over 1100 staff members.
According to Thinus de Vries, one of five partners at Mazars Bloemfontein and Head of Audit at Mazars Central, this is a very exciting time for their company, which is considered to be an integral player in auditing, accounting, tax and advisory services in South Africa.
“The whole renewal process is partly to emphasise the fact that Mazars is one of the most progressive businesses in the financial services sector. We have always moved with the times and we keep on rediscovering ourselves. We hardly ever stagnate,” says De Vries.
He adds that a big part of the renewal strategy has also been done with their clients in mind, especially when it comes to the new offices which they occupied on 21 October.
“The new offices will be hugely beneficial to our clients. For example, we will have access to a lot more conference facilities in the new building, which means we will be able of serve to a lot more clients at the same time, which in turn will improve our turnaround times immensely.
“Our new offices are ideally situated in the heart of the newly-developed Wild Olive Estate, which makes it safe for clients to visit. There will also be ample parking available to the benefit of our clients.”
Some of the services that Mazars has become synonymous with and which they will be rendering at their new offices include the following:
- Auditing and Assurance
- Accounting and outsource services
- Tax and audits
- Financial and advisory services
- Wealth management
- Company Secretarial services
Mazars Bloemfontein, which is part of 11 branches nationwide, is being managed by five partners: Guillaume Oberholster, (Head of Financial Advisory Services), Walter Blake (Head of Tax), Thinus de Vries (Head of Assurance), Elizabeth Steyn (Head of Accounting & Outsource Services), as well as Peet van der Merwe.
Guillaume Oberholster, managing partner of Mazars Central says the partners and staff are looking forward to welcome old and new clients to their new offices.
“We want to be at the beck and call of our client base and render a truly ‘partner-led’ personal service to them,” Oberholster says.
According to the company’s website, Mazars in South Africa is a top-six audit, tax and advisory firm by audit fee income, and one of Africa’s largest audit firms.
“We work with a wide range of clients – from private clients and local businesses to large corporate companies and global organisations.”
