The Nelson Mandela Drive entrance to the basement parking level at Mimosa Mall has been opened and is accessible to the public. This was revealed by André Rossouw, Acting Marketing Manager of Mimosa Mall, on Friday.
This comes after a fire started in the Checkers storeroom during lunch time on Friday 8 December.
Tenants and customers had to evacuate quickly to prevent any serious injuries and it was done swiftly and safely.
Nelson Mandela Drive was closed for the safety of passing motorists.
Other entrances have been accessible since the fire, and some stores are still not open for trade.
