Names of deceased killed in Reitz accident not released yet

The names of seven people, including two babies, killed in a head-on collision between a vehicle and a taxi on the R26 outside Reitz this weekend have not yet been released. Free State police spokesperson, Mmako Mophiring, says the next-of-kin have yet to identify the bodies.
He says the taxi passengers killed include two baby girls, aged two and eight months respectively, the driver, a female and a male. He says the only two occupants in the other vehicle were also killed. Both mothers of the babies survived and are being treated at the Dihlabeng Regional Hospital in Bethlehem.

Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
