“Be your own artist and be confident in what you’re doing.” These are the words that Bloemfontein artist, Dumelang Wilfred Tsepo, better known as Bondo live by.
The well-known Afro, urban musician started his music journey whilst in primary school but took it up a notch in 2009 when the “music bug bit” him and he released a gospel album.
Bondo who has made his mark both in the City of Roses and nationally is now working on his latest EP, which will be out soon.
“It’s sounding amazing already, and I also have a single out titled Pelo.”
His music is inspired by many things, including his dreams and Imagination. “I’m also inspired by personal experiences, what people go through or say about their everyday lives and their love lives, and of course, what goes on in the world on a daily basis,” said Bondo. He aims to be an international artist one day, to be able to reach multitudes around the world and touch their souls.
“I’d really love to make God proud with the gift and talents that he gave me, and my people where I come from.”
Bondo has already worked with Brian Themba, Presss, Afrotraction and Musa Sukwene.
