The murder accused Mohlaudi Moloi has made a brief appearance in the Bethlehem Magistrate’s court yesterday. The 39-year-old suspect is accused of stabbing Matlale Mokoena (30) on the evening of Tuesday 31 March 2020 at the deceased’s parents’ home.
According to a statement by the Office of the Cluster Commander in Bethlehem, it is alledged that Mokoena had died after an argument with Moloi over cigarette money.
Moloi, who was on the run, has been arrested by members of the Bohlokong Detective Unit after following intelligence driven information about his hiding spot. The case has been postponed to Tuesday 28 April 2020 for a bail application while Moloi remains in custody.
