Motheo Technical Vocational Educational Training (TVET) College has once again been awarded for Best Practice, the second international award the college has received in less than a month.
At a ceremony held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Berlin, Germany, on 27 and 28 April 2018, hosted by Otherways Management and Consulting, which is based in France, Motheo Tvet College has been awarded the Platinum Technology Award.
This follows last year’s success from the award ceremony held in November 2017 in Dubai, where the college received the Majestic Falcon Award for Quality and Excellence.
Motheo TVET College is the only educational institution in South Africa which was awarded. More than 50 companies from five continents and 133 countries attended and received 2256 Platinum Technology Awards for Quality and Best Trade Name.
And two weeks later, the college was once again recognised for best practices and results in quality management strategies.
The college was awarded the European Award for Best Practices 2018 by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR). The convention and the award ceremony took place on 12 May 2018, at Le Plaza Hotel in Brussels, Belgium.
Motheo TVET College was among organisations, public administrations and companies from Europe, Asia, America, Africa and Australia that received this prestigious award which aims to celebrate excellence and provide solutions to enable organisations from any industry, irrespective of its size and geographic location, to learn the tools and techniques for managing quality as well as address global challenges.
During her speech at the ceremony held in Berlin, College Principal, Dipiloane Phutsisi, expressed her gratitude to all students, staff, parents, partners and other stakeholders for their dedication, hard work and outstanding performance towards making Motheo TVET College an institution of choice.
