Motheo TVET College hosts Graduation Ceremony

Graduation is the epitome of educational milestones, therefore Motheo TVET College found pleasure in awarding and conferring 1613 certificates and diplomas to the Class of 2022.

Motheo TVET College hosted its annual academic ceremony on 21 September 2023. The two-day ceremony was held at the National Artisan Development Academy.

“These graduates will strengthen our collective efforts to address the triple challenges of poverty, inequality and unemployment.

The graduation ceremonies were attended by the college council, executive management, broad management, student representative council and academic staff members.

Motheo TVET stepped up this year by awarding differently-abled students.

Dyslexic, blind and deaf students are afforded a chance to acquire necessary skills and competencies and therefore deserve fair and equal chances as well.

During his keynote address, the chairperson of the college’s council, Adv. Xolile Xuma, mentioned that the graduates’ success is a result of their unwavering commitment to their studies.

“We are confident that you will continue to excel in all your future endeavours.”

Five graduates were awarded Best Performer’s and one the Principal’s Award.

Educare Student, Chantel Stilo, obtained ten distinctions. SRC Secretary-General and NCV Management student, Boitumelo Khoete, obtained 13 distinctions.

Electrical engineering students Agnes Lepho and Dineo Raboko both obtained 13 distinctions. Masabta Mohlomi, who is also a recipient of the Principal’s Award, obtained 14 distinctions.
