The strategy of Motheo TVET College in Zastron is to increase the number of its learners.
This is according to the institution’s principal, Dipiloane Phutsitsi. She was speaking at the official opening of the institution’s new satellite campus on Friday.
Phutsitsi wants the college to become easily accessible to the Zastron community.
“At the moment TVET has about 27 000 students and with the Zastron campus growing, we will be able to achieve our enrolment target of 31 000. We invite the Mohokare community to bring their children here and not to send them to Bloemfontein or other places, as they now have a college. This new building is also a state-of-the-art facility for them to study at. Those who are working have a chance of using our college for part-time courses to improve their education.”
