Police spokesperson Wendy Nkabi told OFM News, two suspects are believed to still be at large, with a possibility of more.
This, as Stanley Bakili will again appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court tomorrow for his alleged involvement in the murder.
Bakili made his second appearance in the court on May 31 for bail application, but the matter was postponed after the state revealed he would be facing a domestic violence charge.
Free State police are tight-lipped about their investigation into the shooting.
Siemens was the Managing Director of the day hospital, CityMed when he was murdered in the basement parking area of the Preller Square shopping complex on May 10.
Bakili who is alleged to be a business associate of the deceased, was implicated in the shooting by CCTV footage.
Meanwhile, the day hospital has appointed a new Managing Director in the aftermath of the shooting. Chartered Accountant, Jana Britz who was previously the Financial Manager at CityMed, will take over the reigns as Managing Director.
In a statement, the day hospital said the prospect of the completion of the hospital building in October this year and a new head, makes the oldest day hospital in the region “new again”.
