Excitement is mounting for the upcoming Moments concert that takes place on 1 and 2 June 2018. The show was officially launched at the new Sovereign BMW building in Langenhoven Park on 30 May 2018.
The launch was attended by all the artists who will take the stage. The talented producer of the show, Willie Venter, thanked all sponsors and those who went out of their way to make this masterpiece come together. Venter told Bloemfontein Courant that this production will definitely be different than that of last year and he will show that local talent has been invested in the show. “I spoke to the theatre managers and they say that this is the first time so many sound channels have been used in the Sand du Plessis Theatre. We are using the lifts on stage for about a hundred times and that is massive.”
Venter has selected every artist, so the audience will know that great talent will be showcased at this year’s concert.

She has performed with big names like Michael Jackson, Tina Turner and many more. Jones said, “Like a few other artists, this will be my third Moments show. We have become like a small family. I only get the opportunity to come to Bloemfontein when Moments is produced and have met the most fantastic people here.” Jones is going to sing the well-known song, I’m only human.
Corlea Botha said, “We have received our music a while ago, but today will be the first time that all of the artists will sing together as a collective, and I am very excited about that. What makes me excited is to see how many diverse artists can become a unit on the stage. The song I will sing is Ordinary Miracles by Barbra Streisand.”
Jannie Moolman will be performing at his second Moments concert by dong a solo with the Bliss Acapella group. He said that people can be excited because it is going to be big. Three hundred artists and performers will take the stage
