Botshabelo-born model and Miss Plus Size ambassador, Dipolelo Hou, will host her Worth Ladies Seminar in Houston, Texas on 10 August 2019.
Hou told Bloemfontein Courant that it is a great honour for her to represent South Africa on the world stage.
“Form the dusty streets of Botshabelo, to hosting such a huge and international seminar, this a dream come true from me. I am glad that could change the mindset of plus size ladies to accept their bodies.
“This seminar will open more doors, not for me but also for the young models from the townships. I am also looking forward to learn about many other cultures as this will be an international seminar,” said Hou.
She also thanked Chief Leeuw, founder of the Miss Plus Size pageant, for the opportunity and support he gave to her over the years.
“I would like to encourage the youth to follow their dreams and surround themselves with positive people that will help them to realise their dreams,” concluded Hou.
