Transport Minister, Dipuo Peters, will tonight host the Second Annual Transport Awards in Bloemfontein, Free State.
Spokesperson for the Department of Police, Roads and Transport, Hillary Mophete, says they are expecting close to 500 people who will be gathered at Illanga Estate. She says Peters will be accompanied by her deputy minister, Sindisiwe Chikunga, and the provincial MEC for Police, Roads and Transport, Butana Komphela.
“The awards will be held under the theme ‘Sustaining excellence and innovation beyond expectation’. The awards strive to recognise excellence performance by transport officials from national and provincial departments of transport, as well as public entities and municipalities,” says Mophete.
