The Mighty Families Conference will this year takes place from 4 to 6 October 2019 on the farm, Wilde Als, where the remarkable ‘It’s Time’ event with Angus Buchan was held a few years ago.
According to the organisers of Mighty Families the event promises to be “a special experience in the Lord’s presence”, where families from different segments of society will be ministered to.
“Our country experiences a worrying time of family structures gradually falling apart. The heartbeat of Mighty Families is to create an opportunity for healing in our families, for marriages on the brink of divorce to be saved, and the hearts of children and their parents to be united, as it says in Malachi 4:6.
“There will be specific emphasis on diversity to welcome everyone to be part of the event as we enjoy strong Word-based ministry, wholehearted worship – led by Heinz Winckler and his wife, Aletté-Johanni – and also devoted counselling and prayer.”
Speakers include TV actor and Fatherhood Foundation founder Zane Meas on the Friday night, Pastor Bernard van der Vlies of Bloemfontein on Saturday morning, Apostle Mohau Rammile on Saturday afternoon, the Imagine Group on Saturday night and singer-evangelist Danie Botha at the Sunday morning service.
Heinz Winkler will lead worship, together with a worship team drawn from various local congregations. Clarice Pieterse of Clarice and the Reënboog Kidz will minister to the children.
The event is free but there is a charge of R150 per family for those camping on the site to pay for facilities prepared for them.
