The marking of matric exam papers in the Free State has again been rescheduled and is now due to commence on Thursday 7 January.
Education spokesperson Howard Ndaba informed OFM News that logistical preparations are being made to ensure marking kicks off accordingly and that media invitations to join Makgoe will be issued.
The MEC for Education, Tate Makgoe, is set to visit marking centres in Bloemfontein on Thursday (7 January 2021).
Makgoe earlier confirmed he is confident the province will remain a top-performing province. He expressed his confidence in how teachers and learners in the province have been going the extra mile to ensure that teaching and learning continue.
