Maritzburg host Pirates, Chiefs get Wits

Bloemfontein – Once again, the Soweto giants avoided each other, but will play their Nedbank Cup semifinal matches away from home as Maritzburg United and Bidvest Wits were drawn at home.

United will play hosts to Orlando Pirates while Wits will welcome Kaizer Chiefs.

United crushed African Warriors 3-1 while the Buccaneers stunned Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 in the quarterfinal matches played on Saturday.

Elsewhere, the defending champions, Amakhosi, thumped Supersport United 2-0 while Wits crushed Celtic 2-1 to book their places in the semifinals.

The dates and venues will be announced at the later stage.
