Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality has changed its banking facility and will now bank with FNB. This contract will be effective from 1 July 2025.
According to the Metro, this follows a lengthy competitive tender process after which FNB was appointed as the successful tenderer. The tender for the provision of banking services is governed by the Municipal Supply Chain Management Regulations (Section 30), as contained in the Government Gazette, Volume 479, No 27636, 30 May 2005.
“We would like to thank our former banking partner, Nedbank, for its service over the past few years. At the same time, we are looking forward to our relationship with FNB,” said City Manager Sello More.
