Bloemfontein. – A man was shot dead in Rocklands, Bloemfontein yesterday.
Free State police said it is alleged that he was shot by three unknown men who came to his rented room and demanded the keys to his bakkie. One of the men allegedly took out a firearm and shot at the 26-year-old man when he refused to hand over the vehicle keys.
The men then fled on foot. No arrests have been made.
