A man was left in a critical condition after he was knocked over by a vehicle on Maselspoort Road, just outside Bloemfontein, at around 8:30 on Wednesday night.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found the man laying on the road. Upon assessment of the patient, believed to be in his 20s, it was found that he sustained multiple injuries.
He was treated and transported to the Pelonomi Hospital for further medical care.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown. ER24 Spokesperson, Chitra Harduth, says it was not a hit and run however, and the driver of the vehicle was on the scene.
