Mangaung Metro Mayor, Olly Mlamleli, has officially launched Macufe 2016. Mlamleli welcomed all who will be visiting Bloemfontein during these next ten days. She says we must use this time to celebrate our cultural diversity. Mlamleli says the city has been growing yearly, and as it does so, so does its economy. She said plans are in place to expand the infrastructure of the metro, to accommodate the growing number of people who attend Macufe yearly. Free State MEC for Sports, Arts and Culture, Mathabo Leeto added that we should use this time to learn more about our cultures, and celebrate them. Leeto said all the visitors, including the people of Mangaung, lend a hand in growing its economy. Olly Mlamleli will be touring areas of Mangaung, giving tickets away to citizens on Saturday.
