Excitement is mounting as local businesses are getting ready for an enlightening business experience which is part of Bloemfontein Courant’s birthday celebrations. Sponsored by Standard Bank, the newspaper will be hosting its Business Breakfast on 8 August at Memories 4 Ever.
Avid supporter of the #LoveLocal campaign who is passionate about supporting local and being a part of the community, is Oranje Toyota Bloemfontein. This well-known company has donated R10 000 towards the event and is working in partnership with the Free State Legislature and Bloemfontein Courant to show their support for the development and improvement of local business.
Guest speaker, Lincoln Mali, Head: Group Card and Payments at Standard Bank, will be engaging the audience on leadership in business. Mali holds a BA; an LLB from Rhodes University; an MBA from Henley Management College in the UK and Advanced Management Programme from Harvard Business School in the US. He joined the Banking Council SA in 1997 as a General Manager responsible for Public Policy, SME Development and Market Conduct Regulation.
In 2001 Mali joined Standard bank as a Senior Manager at Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB); in the same year he was appointed Regional Director: Central Africa, in charge of Standard Bank Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi.
