The South African entertainment fraternity is still in shock after the news that legendary actor, Joe Mafela, has died at the age of 75 after being involved in a car accident in Johannesburg on Saturday.
Veteran actor, Jerry Mofokeng, said what was amazing about Mafela was that he was still very active in the industry.
He said what stood out the most about the former Madam and Eve actor’s talent was the fact that he spoke a number of languages fluently. Mofokeng said Mafela’s passing is a huge loss to the industry and the country.
Mofokeng said he last saw Mafela at the SAFTA Nominations ceremony two weeks ago but they didn’t get a chance to interact.
