Hi,

I trust this letter finds you well.

Central Media Group (CMG) is the owner of Bloemfontein Courant, Bloemfontein Get It magazine, Digital Platforms and OFM, the sound of your life.

CMG is the largest media business in Central South Africa, as explained, with interests in print, online and radio.

The group owns Mahareng Publishing, publishers of Bloemfontein’s biggest newspaper, Bloemfontein Courant, a 45,000-strong weekly publication available across the city every Thursday, with 177,000 readers every four weeks. This makes the newspaper the most consumed weekly newspaper in the Free State and Bloemfontein. The newspaper is an award-winning publication and we are proud of its success.

Mahareng Publishing is in partnership with Caxton CTP, a newspaper group that owns 15 magazines in the family, women, home, lifestyle, décor, entertainment, religion, and farming sectors. It also publishes the nationwide 10-title Get It magazine, of which Bloemfontein Get It is one, 88 other weekly newspaper titles across South Africa, plus 72 websites and The Citizen newspaper.

Being part of such a strong group is a testament to the success of Bloemfontein Courant. The reason for this letter is to highlight Mahareng Publishing’s ownership and guarantee continued professional sales and editorial solutions.

Bloemfontein Courant is in a very strong space and continues to push boundaries in print and innovate the sector.

Thank you for your continued business, we look forward to walking a very long road to success. Thank you to our readers for their continued engagement with their beloved newspaper.

Regards, Nick Efstathiou
