Political Analyst Theo Venter says Kenny Kunene allowed himself to be on the urge of the political spectrum and that became a very uncomfortable position.
Venter says it was a surprise for businessman Kunene to see him getting involved in politics to that extent. Venter says politics is a dangerous ground where politicians usually take sides.
“There was a story that SARS was behind Kenny Kunene which was never confirmed on any sides. The way in which the EFF is currently developing especially the position of Julius Malema, I think it made Kunene think twice about the intensity of his commitment,” says Venter.
The spokesperson of the Economic Freedom Fighter (EFF) Mbuyiseni Ndlosi says a formal statement regarding Kenny Kunene’s alleged resignation will be released tomorrow. Speaking to OFM this afternoon, Ndlosi says he cannot confirm the socialite turned politician’s departure. It was reported this morning that Kunene has allegedly resigned from the political party leadership of Julius Malema.
