Eskom has notified residents from the Kopanong Local Municipality that a planned power interruption in their area has been cancelled.
The initial notice circulated on 17 September alerted residents from Edenburg, Trompsburg, Reddersburg, Philippolis, Gariep Dam and Springfontein about a planned power interruption scheduled to take place on 22 October 2024.
“Due to reasons beyond our control, the scheduled interruption has been cancelled. You will be notified once a new date has been confirmed,” said Eskom.
