Judgement has been reserved in the case of a 51-year-old suspect who appeared in the Senekal Magistrate’s Court on charges of malicious damage to property, public violence and attempted murder.
The suspect, who made his first appearance today, will remain in custody.
The suspect was arrested on Wednesday after a police vehicle was torched following the appearance on Tuesday of the two suspects in the murder of a young Eastern Free State farm manager, Brendin Horner.
The magistrate, Buti Mlangeni, has today postponed the case of the 51-year-old suspect to 13 October 2020.
